Thanks. It's been awhile since I built an entire PC from scratch. I think it took 2-3 hours to put together but the entire process was pretty smooth. My old PC case was a Rosewill Challenger, so working with the NZXT H510 was a pleasure. I'm a big fan of PSU shrouds. PC cases have come a long way since I last built my old PC.

Stress Test with Stock Settings Prime95 - Small FFTs MSI Kombustor 16 minute duration

Some things I noticed:

1) HWiNFO64 and iCue do not like each other. Launching both will remove fan control options in Corsair Link and iCue. This seems to be a known issue with no fix in sight since both programs are trying to take over access to the sensors.

2) The Asus Crosshair VIII Hero will show ~12 sensors, but only 2 are actually active. The others are probably for motherboard pin-outs.

3) Graphic cards seem to do just fine in NZXT HXXX cases as long as there is some air blowing. It looks like I have some headroom with the 5700 since I left it on the stock fan curve. I haven't tried doing the powertable mod or flashing the BIOS on it yet.

  • Hi everyone, very new to this site so a little introducing is in order. i’m from Belgium and doing my second case job, i’ve very little time so the build goes slowly but definitly forward. Please excuse my english if it isn’t that good but i think your dutch wouldn’t be eighter. ;) so i started out with comming across this case ( a Thermaltake tower 900 snow edition) and saw oppertunity to build me a Dr Who TARDIS as i‘m a huge fan for many years.
  • This is a customers build that just added the PSU cover plate that I made them.
  • So my wife had a pretty shit day and this is going to make her super happy when she's home. I've been building a hackintosh for her for the last few weeks, and this is the finishing touch. Thank you for customizing this silly little logo; it looks perfect and is exactly what I wanted. Thank you!!! Pics here - https://imgur.com/gallery/pBUKpD2
